Work day with a lot of realizations. With the help of a few inspirational people I’ve come to realize that I want to be happy. Ambitious, happy, and healthy.
I’d like to get a haircut after work.
If you haven’t read the short article “Live Like You’re Dying” by Chuck Palahniuk, you should! Especially to start off this year. Although I think it takes alot of courage to do it…

Hi everyone, we’re going to watch Harry Paratesticles, I mean… Harry Potter. (Her words, not mine.)
Everyone is dressed up in very festive attire. Including Kristine and I, who are dressed as Muggles. There were some freaks who asked why we were waiting in line and what movie it was for… (I am justified in my name calling). But anyway, this is really fun. I love Kristine.)
As dictated by Kristine Hoang.
Today’s story:
Red checkered button-up (Salt Valley)
Jean jacket (Gap)
Black chinos (Topman)
Desert boots (Clarks)“Now let’s publish it so we can read it!”

Girlfriend and I went to Long Beach for a day at the suggestion of a Buffalo Exchange employee a month or so ago.
…Yeah, something about a vintage letterman jacket being sold at La Bomba on 4th.
Started the day off by having lunch at Pho 86 with Kristine’s family. They treated me to a special bowl of pho and we all ate it with the quickness while Kristine’s little brother Christopher and I talked about 3DS Zelda and video games.
Drove to Long Beach and stopped by Buffalo Exchange on 2nd Street. Scored an old red nylon parka for a pleasantly surprising 50% off and a Peter Bjorn and John t-shirt. Not that I’m a huge fan of PB&J… I just need some exercise clothes.
Then we hit up Retro Row on 4th Street where we hit a myriad of vintage thrift shops. None of us came up on anything but it was really nice to just check out some old clothes. Notable: Kristine’s outfit matched that of a mannequin’s.
After, went to a shopping area called the Long Beach Town Center or something where we walked around and got a Rolo McFlurry, medium fries and a sweet tea with creamer. (Don’t judge us…)
Final stop: Shoreline Village where we walked around, took pictures, and ended the night at Yard House with a nice dinner by the sea. This resulted in a food coma which, upon careful test of my wellness to drive, lasted and hit us full force when our seemingly high selves ended up at Rite-Aid for some ice cream.
Yesterday’s story:
White v-neck undershirt (Fruit of the Loom)
Green plaid button-up (Polo Ralph Lauren)
Bonus ironic hipster points — thrifted this at Dee-Lux for $4.50Wool/acryllic track jacket (Fred Perry)
Black chinos (Topman)
Desert boots (Clarks Originals)
